Known for its thick, heavily textured leaves with a rugged, almost stone-like surface, Alocasia Melo is a rare houseplant with dramatic foliage. Its silvery-blue leaves and slow-growing habit make it a unique indoor plant and a collector’s favorite.

Origin: Alocasia Melo is native to the tropical forests of Borneo. Borneo is a large island in Southeast Asia, specifically within the Malay Archipelago. 

 

Plant Care

Alocasia Plant Care: Alocasia Melo prefers bright, indirect light and high humidity. Keep the soil slightly moist but never soggy, using a chunky, well-draining aroid soil mix. Alocasia are very sensitive to cold drafts.
