The Maranta leuconeura erythroneura, commonly known as the Red Prayer Plant, is loved for its bold red-veins and beautifully patterned leaves. Its nightly leaf-folding ritual resembles hands folding in prayer, giving in the name Red Prayer Plant. This easy-care evergreen is also a pet-safe houseplant.

Origin: The Red Prayer plant red veins is native to the tropical rainforests of Brazil, where it thrives in the shaded understory with high humidity.

Light: The Red Prayer Plant prefers bright, indirect light.

Water & Soil: Plant in a peat-rich, well-draining soil. Keep soil consistently moist but not soggy, and mist regularly to maintain humidity.
