Frequently Asked Questions About Ordering Plants Online
Helpful tips to help your plants thrive in their new home.
Why do your plants arrive with straw on top of the soil?
It's simply there to hold the soil in place during transit. Once you take your plants out of the box, you can remove the straw and throw it out.
Should I water my new plants and put them in sunlight right away?
No, avoid bright, direct sunlight for a few days, and check the top inch of the soil with your finger. Unless it's very dry, wait about seven days before watering.
When can I repot my new plants?
It's best to wait about 10 to 14 days before re-potting your new plants. They need up to two weeks to acclimate to their new environment. Once they've settled in, you can safely repot them.
What else can I expect from my plants?
You might see a yellow leaf, and your plant might lose a leaf or two after travel, but follow these simple tips and your plants will settle in and begin to thrive.
