Maranta leuconeura var. kerchoveana, also known as Maranta Rabbit Tracks  has blue-green foliage with dark brown splotches. Like other varieties of Maranta, this plant has the unique habit of folding its leaves each night, resembling hands folding in prayer. This low-maintenance plant is evergreen and pet-safe.

Origin: Native to the tropical rainforests of Brazil, where it thrives in shaded understories with high humidity.

 

Plant Care

Maranta Plant Care: Prefers bright, indirect light and consistently moist, well-draining soil. Maintain high humidity and mist regularly to prevent leaf edges from drying out and crisping. Foliage folds upward at night in a prayer-like motion.
