Alocasia Regal Shields carries a quiet intensity with deep green velvety leaves with a rich dark underside. At House of Agave, we love its sculptural form that transforms interiors while still fitting beautifully into a curated, modern plant collection. 

Origin: The Regal Shields is a hybrid Alocasia with roots in tropical Southeast Asia.

Plant Care

Light: Alocasia Regal Shields requires medium to bright, indirect light. They are very sensitive to the cold.

Soil: Alocasia prefer an aroid soil mix that allows the plant to stay evenly moist without becoming soggy. 

Water: Water thoroughly when the top half to three-quarters of the soil is dry to prevent root rot. Alocasia do best in high humidity environments and warm temperatures. They enjoy regular misting.

House of Agave offers nationwide delivery for a flat rate shipping fee of $12. We offer free delivery for orders of $100 or more. Shipping may take 4 to 10 days depending on your order and location. Some products may be delayed during extreme winter weather.
