The Calathea Lancifolia, commonly called the Rattlesnake Calathea has dark green leaves with unique ripples and a purple underside. Like all Calathea plants, the leaves adjust as the sun rotates throughout the day. Calathea are low-light indoor plants, which are perfect for apartments and office corners.

Origin: Calathea Rattlesnake are native the rainforests of Brazil.

Calathea Plant Care: Calathea are low-light houseplants, keep out of direct sunlight. Use a well-draining, peat-based potting mix and feed with diluted fertilizer monthly during spring and summer. They prefer high humidity and consistently moist soil. 

Pet-Safe Houseplant: Calathea are pet-safe and nontoxic to cats and dogs.
