Syngonium podophyllum, commonly known as Syngonium White Butterfly, is a gorgeous plant with arrowhead-shaped leaves that have white markings and dark green edges. As the plant matures, the leaves become more white and resemble a butterfly. This is sold as a bareroots plant.

***Bare root plants will ship without a pot and soil. You will NOT receive a nursery pot or soil with a bare root plant.***

Origin: Syngonium are native to Central America.

Plant Care

Light: Syngonium prefer bright, indirect light. Too little light causes leggy vines, which means too few leaves, while harsh direct sun can scorch the leaves. Variegated or pink varieties need a few extra hours of indirect light to maintain their variegation and vibrant color.

Soil & Water: For Syngonium, use a well-draining, chunky aroid mix. One that contains perlite or orchid bark is best. Water when the top two inches of soil becomes fully dry. Syngoniyn do not like soggy soil and it will lead to root rot.

Syngonium tolerate average household humidity, but enjoy slightly higher humidity. Occassional misting is beneficial.
