The Variegated Alocasia Frydek dazzles with its deep, velvety green and white leaves with sharply contrasting white veins. Its exotic appearance and upright growth habit make it an instant focal point in plant styling. This Alocasia stays relatively compact indoors, typically growing up to two to three feet tall.

Origin: Alocasia Frydek are native to the tropical rainforests of the Philippines.

 

Plant Care

Light: Alocasia requires medium to bright, indirect light. Too much bright light can scorch the variegated leaves.

Soil: Alocasia prefer an aroid soil mix that allows the plant to stay evenly moist without becoming soggy. 

Water: Water thoroughly when the top half to three-quarters of the soil is dry to prevent root rot. Alocasia do best in high humidity environments and warm temperatures. They enjoy regular misting.
