Ficus elastica Burgundy, sometimes called the Rubber Tree Plant, is prized for its deep, almost black leaves with a subtle maroon hue. Ficus Burgundy is a low-light houseplant that can thrive in shaded corners. This bold, architectural plant can reach 8 to 10 feet in height, and makes an elegant statement plant in modern interiors. 

Origin: Ficus elastica is native to tropical regions of Southeast Asia.

Plant Care

Light: The Ficus elastica Burgundy prefers bright, indirect light but can adapt to moderate light levels.

Water & Soil: Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil are dry. Wipe leaves regularly to keep them dust-free. The Rubber Tree plant can grow into a large indoor plant standing 8 to 10 feet tall.
