The Lemon Lime Maranta, or Lemon Lime Prayer Plant is a perennial houseplant that has symmetrical bright green markings on its foliage. Like other varieties of Maranta, this plant has the unique habit of folding its leaves each night, resembling hands folding in prayer. This low-maintenance plant is evergreen and pet-safe.

Origin: Lemon Lime Maranta are native to the tropical rainforest of Brazil.

 


Plant Care

Maranta Plant Care: The Lemon Lime Maranta does best when it receives indirect light, rather than direct sun. Use a well-draining soil mix, and do not allow the plant to dry out completely.

Plant Safe Houseplants: The Marana Lemon Lime plant is safe for pets. Maranta leuconeura are non-toxic to cats and dogs.
