Begonia Maculata, commonly known as the Polka-dot Begonia is a striking ornamental plant, with angel-wing shaped leaves marked by bold silver spots and deep burgundy undersides. Its whimsical patterning makes it one of the most iconic Begonias, bringing playful energy to any space.

Origin: Native to the tropical forests of Brazil, where it grows under the canopy in warm, humid environments.

Plant Care

Light: Begonia Maculata prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun.

Water: Water the plant thoroughly when the top one to two inches of soil feel dry to the touch, but before the soil dries out completely.

Soil: This Begonia thrives in a rich, well-draining soil. Keep the soil consistently moist but never soggy, and maintain high humidity to prevent leaf edges from crisping. Prune stems to encourage bushier growth.
